Instacart is hiring a Background Check Compliance Associate to support its Trust & Safety team in maintaining a safe platform for shoppers and customers. In this remote role, you’ll review and adjudicate background checks, evaluate appeals, handle escalations, and recommend process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review background checks and assess shopper appeals
- Investigate escalations and resolve issues promptly
- Execute operational tasks with attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality while working in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- 1–2+ years of professional experience or strong academic background
- Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Availability on weekends or holidays
- Preferred: Experience in background checks, support ops, or CRM tools like Salesforce/Zendesk
Pay & Benefits:
